TYRANNUS is a free web-based game of galactic conquest.
Unlike most games, there is no single "winner." Instead, each player
strives for Ascension. More than one player can Ascend
in each game- but other players will get in your way. Because there
can be more than one winner, you can join a game at any time and still
have a fair shot at winning. In general, the players with huge
empires won't be able to find players with tiny empires- you should
find yourself facing players at about your own power level throughout
the game.
We present TYRANNUS in pure HTML with very few pictures. This keeps the
pages fast, so you can play over even slow modem connections.
The game itself is evolving, with about one release per week. Feedback
